Through a Pair of Button Eyes...

I live under your bed.
And It's not that I don't want to keep you company but when you're gone, I open this door by the wall to a whole new different world just underneath your crib where you left me.
And there, I oftentimes prefer to be.
Because everything comes to life!
My dreams, my happiness, my twinkling emotions, my ardent deviancy in piles of sugar, spice and all things nice!
To the extent of my fears, my monsters and my nightmares.
And no matter how pensive that can sound at the latter bit, sometimes, it's better to occasionally run around and hear your heart thump endlessly at your every scare THAN to lay on an earth of cold wood beneath a carpet of filth feeling dust snow over me, lil by lil day by day, waiting for you to peek down and reach out to get me.

But there's not even a choice to fret.
I'm very happy as it is.
..The bright side on focus, there's just too much to smile about and a WHOLE LOT OF REASONS to keep re-entering that door when you leave just to make it back in time for your return.

I am fantasy, fear, ruin, moon dim, hope, light, a dream, smiles and laughter in living mortal smoke.
